Your child will come to P.E. with us at least twice a week for 45 minutes.
In that time, we will work on different athletic skills, how to play games together as a team,
and most importantly, good sportsmanship.
In order to ensure that your child gets the most out of his/her P.E. experience, here are a few things to keep in mind:
*Tennis shoes must be worn on P.E. days.
Please make sure that your child has on appropriate footwear.
Appropriate footwear consists of tennis shoes that can be secured to the foot. Laces must be tied and velcro securely fastened. It is difficult for students to run and play in high-heel shoes or boots.
Students who do not have on appropriate footwear or belts will walk the perimeter of the gym.
*Belts must be worn to ensure that clothing stays in place.
*If girls are wearing dresses/skirts,
please make sure shorts are worn underneath.
*Your child will be expected to participate in all activities
unless a note is sent by a doctor.
*Students will receive an unsatisfactory for the day
if procedures are not followed.
